Biography
Dr. Pran N. Sood grew up in Punjab, India and immigrated to the US in 1975 for his residency in Orthopedic Surgery at the famed Case Western Reserve Hospital in Cleveland, OH. He completed his surgical internship and 5 year residency in Orthopedics in 1979.
He then moved to Atlanta, GA in 1980 where he started his orthopedic practice on the southside of Atlanta. He has been continually seeing patients in the Morrow, Riverdale, Jonesboro, Fayetteville, Mcdonough, Locust Grove and Griffin for the past 35 years. Dr. Sood was previous Chief of Staff at Southern Regional Hospital.
In his free time, Dr. Sood is very active in the Indian Atlanta community. He spends time playing golf, tennis, and traveling with his wife Lovelina Sood, who is a pediatrician. His favorite pastime is spending time with his four grandchildren: Nikhil, Ajay, Ayan and Mira.
